Ingredients for Skillet Tortellini
I love to keep some extra packages of cheese tortellini in the fridge or freezer so that I can always make this! I usually have all of the other ingredients stocked in my pantry at all times.
- olive oil
- minced garlic
- can crushed tomatoes
- heavy cream
- dried basil
- dried oregano
- pepper
- salt
- vegetable broth
- fresh chopped spinach
- fresh or frozen cheese tortellini
- Parmesan cheese
How to Make Skillet Tortellini with Spinach
Did I mention this recipe is EASY? It really only takes 2 steps and you’re done!
First, heat the olive oil in a non-stick sauté pan, then add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in the tomatoes and heavy cream and heat until the mixture starts to bubble.
Add the rest of the ingredients, stir, and let simmer on low heat for 5-8 minutes, stirring often, until the tortellini is tender. Serve in a bowl with some extra parmesan cheese on top, and enjoy!
