Tomato Bacon Chicken Creamy Pasta – 20 Minute Dinner

Ingredients
4 strips bacon, cut into small pieces
1 chicken breast, sliced thin in half horizontally
1 tsp salt, divided
1/2 tsp pepper, divided
1/2 tsp garlic powder
10oz Cellentani pasta, or any other shaped pasta
1 tbs butter
1 tbs minced garlic
14oz can diced tomatoes
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 cups fresh spinach
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup parmesan cheese
Directions
- To a pot a boiling water add the pasta and cook according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
- To deep skillet cook the bacon until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon to a separate plate lined with paper towel and set to the side. Save 1 tbs of the bacon grease in the pan.
- Season the chicken on both sides with a dash of salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place chicken in the hot pan you cooked the bacon in. Over medium heat cook chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side or until completely cooked through. Remove chicken to a separate plate and cut into bite sided pieces set to the side.
- To the same skillet add the butter once it melts add minced garlic stir the garlic around until it’s fragrant about 20-30 seconds.
- Add in diced tomatoes, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and spinach. Stir to wilt the spinach down. It should take about 1-2 minutes spinach wilts down easy.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring up to a simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese. Once the parmesan melts add in the cooked chicken, bacon, and cooked drained pasta stir well and enjoy!

Made it with ground beef instead of chicken since that’s what I had on hand. Tasted good!
Could you cut the chicken into chunks before cooking it and it still come out the same way? Or does it help for them to breasts when cooked?
