Garlic Steak Bites are the perfect little cubes of happiness. They’re tender, buttery, and all-around delicious. Cook the steak in the slow cooker along with butter, spices, onion, and potatoes for a low-stress comfort meal. I like to make this one for Sunday dinner with the family!
Ingredients for Garlic Steak Bites
- beef stew meat (You should be able to find a package of beef labeled “beef stew meat” at your local grocery store already cut up. If you can’t find that, you can buy your favorite cut of beef and cut it up into chunks)
- beefy onion soup mix (Lipton is what I usually buy, but any store brand works great)
- beef broth
- salt
- pepper
- minced garlic
- onion powder
- garlic powder
- oregano
- yellow onion
- small to medium-sized russet potatoes
- Parmesan cheese
How to Make Garlic Steak Bites
Garlic Steak Bites are the perfect thing to make when you want a delicious steak but don’t want to slave away on the stove. These little steak cubes are a low-stress way to make tender and juicy beef. Plus, they come out perfectly every time!
To start, spray the inside of a large slow cooker with non-stick spray. Add the beef, onion, onion soup mix, broth, minced garlic, and seasonings and stir well to coat the beef in the seasonings.
Add the cubed potatoes and stir to combine everything together.
Cover with the lid and cook on LOW for 7 hours or HIGH for 5 hours. The beef should be tender and the potatoes should be soft.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese just before serving. Serve with a side salad, steamed veggies, or some yummy homemade rolls for a complete meal.
