Tips and tricks for this pork crock pot recipe:
Can I use hard cider?
You could use hard cider (hard apple cider), as the slow cooking process will remove any alcohol from the cooking liquid, however, the taste might be a bit different.
Type of meat to use:
I like using a pork shoulder for this slow cooker recipe as I think it is the best cut of meat for making tender pork sandwiches. But, you could also use a boneless pork butt (Boston butt). Either way, you will end up with deliciously flavorful meat made with simple ingredients.
