Pasta with a Vegetable Green Sauce

Ingredients
1/2 lb uncooked rotini pasta
1 tbsp olive oil
6 oz frozen peas
5 oz fresh spinach
1/3 cup yellow onion, diced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano
Directions
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil on the stove add in the pasta and cook according to the package instructions before straining remove 1/2 cup of the water that the pasta cooked in and set it to the side. Now strain the pasta.
- To a large deeper pan on the stove over medium heat add in the olive oil, peas, onion, and spinach cook for 5-10 minutes stirring occasionally. Add this mixture into a blender with the reserved pasta water and seasonings blend until smooth. This is now your pasta sauce. Add the pasta sauce back into the pan on the stove then add in the cooked pasta stir well and enjoy
