How to make this One-Pot Ground Turkey Pasta:

To a large pot, add the olive oil. Once hot, add turkey, onion, peppers, and garlic. Break the turkey up and cook through. Add in the chili powder, paprika, cumin, and salt and pepper.

Add in tomato sauce, broth, and pasta, and stir well. Simmer for 14 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.

Stir in sour cream and cheese until the cheese is melted and incorporated. Serve with cilantro and avocado on top and enjoy!

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 pound ground turkey

  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced

  • 1 red bell pepper, diced

  • 2 tbsp minced garlic

  • 2 tsp chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 15 oz tomato sauce

  • 1 1/4 cup chicken stock

  • 8 oz penne pasta

  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese

  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

  • sliced avocado, optional

Directions
