Ingredients
2 medium chicken breasts
1/2 diced onion
2 tbs olive oil
3 tbs all purpose flour
Rolls to serve the chicken in
- Sauce Ingredients
1 1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tbs low sodium soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
Dash of salt and pepper
1 tsp onion powder
Directions
- In a sauce pan add the oil once its hot add the diced onion and saute until soft, about 5 minutes
- In a medium sized bowl add the sauce ingredients and whisk to combine
- Once the onion is soft add the flour and stir for 1 minute then slowly whisk in the sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes to thicken
- To your slow cooker add the chicken and the thick sauce over and cook on low for 6 hours or until chicken is cooked
- Serve in rolls or over rice
