German Pancake is a fluffy, baked pancake dish that is perfect to make for a crowd. It’s a favorite in our household.

Ingredients

  • 5 tbsp butter

  • 6 eggs

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • Dash of salt

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 425. While the oven is warming up, put the butter in a 9×13 baking dish and place in the oven until the butter is melted.
  • In a blender, combine the flour, eggs, milk, vanilla, and salt. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour all the batter into the baking dish with the melted butter.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and puffy.
  • Serve with maple syrup, a sprinkle of powdered sugar, and fruit. Enjoy!
