Ingredients for Easy Tater Tot Casserole:
- Protein: use lean ground beef or ground turkey for this tater tot recipe
- Canned soup: use your favorite brand of cream of mushroom soup
- Seasoning: you will need to have salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika
- Tater tots: use the frozen tater tots you can get at the grocery store
- Cheese: you will need to use shredded cheddar cheese or your favorite cheese blend
How to make Easy Tater Tot Casserole:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
To a large skillet over medium high heat add in the ground beef, break the beef up and cook it through.
Once cooked remove any excess grease from the pan.
Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and seasonings.
Spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray and add the ground beef mixture into the pan.
Place the tater tots over the top.
Sprinkle the top of the tater tots with the cheese.
Bake for 30-40 minutes.

Unfortunately for this casserole recipe, hash browns will not work as well in this dish. When you have even layers of tater tots you can get a nice crunch from the crisp outside that hash browns do not have.
