Creamy Chicken Pasta – Slow Cooker

Ingredients

  • 5 tbs cream cheese, softened

  • 3 tbs butter, softened

  • 1 tbs minced garlic

  • 1 – 0.6 oz pack zesty Italian dressing dry seasoning

  • 10 oz can cream of mushroom soup

  • 1/3 cup chicken broth

  • 2 lbs chicken breast

  • 1 lb angel hair pasta

Directions

  • To a medium sized bow add the cream cheese, butter, and minced garlic whisk well. Now add in the dry Italian packet and cream of mushroom soup whisk well. Add in the chicken broth and whisk again until everything is well combined and smooth.
  • Add the chicken to the slow cooker and pour the sauce over the top cover with the lid and let cook on LOW for 6-7 hours OR HIGH for 5 hours.
  • Once the chicken is almost done in the slow cooker, to a pot of boiling water on the stove add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions, drain.
  • Serve the chicken and sauce over the pasta and enjoy!

  1. Hi, Julia: I can’t wait to try the creamy chicken and pasta recipe, but I was wondering if there is a way to cook the pasta in the crockpot along with the chicken? I don’t know if you have tried it, but it would be a great timesaver….thanks!

  2. I follow you on YouTube and this recipe is delicious! My kids devoured this and I’ve made it twice now. I didn’t have cream of mushroom or the zesty Italian so instead I used cream of celery soup and a regular Italian dressing packet and added some red pepper flakes. So good! Thanks for the recipe and keep up the good work.
