Ingredients
6 medium russet potatoes
8 cups of cold water
2 tbs olive oil
Salt and pepper
Directions
- Cut your potatoes into french fry shapes
- Place the potatoes into the 8 cups of water let them soak in the water for 1 hour (this will make them nice and crisp in the end)
- Rinse the potatoes after the hour of soaking then absorb any excess water on the potatoes with a paper towel
- Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees
- Toss the potatoes in the oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper
- Add the potatoes to the bottom of the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd. I do mine in two different batches.
- Cook for 7 minutes then flip the potatoes. Cook for an additional 7 minutes or until the fries are crisp enjoy
