Healthy Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients
2 tbs olive oil
1 lb 1 lb chicken breast, cut into small cubes
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbs minced garlic
2 tbs all purpose flour
1 3/4 cup chicken broth
1 3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried parsley
3 cups uncooked pene pasta (or other shaped pasta)
1 cup parmesan cheese
Directions
- Heat oil in saute pan once hot add the chicken, salt, and pepper cook the chicken though.
- Once chicken is cooked stir the garlic and flour in.
- Add the broth, milk, seasonings, and pasta in stir well. Simmer covered for 18-20 minutes or until the pasta is cooked. Stir frequently so the pasta doesn’t stick to the pan.
- Once the pasta is tender stir the parmesan cheese in once it melts it’s ready to serve. Enjoy!
