Ingredients for Slow Cooker Honey Mustard Chicken:
- Protein: you will need boneless skinless chicken breasts (or chicken tenderloins)

- Honey: use whatever honey you have on hand
- Seasoning: be sure to have kosher salt and ground black pepper
How to make Slow Cooker Honey Mustard Chicken:
Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Sprinkle it with salt and pepper and add in the broth.

In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard and honey.
Stir the sauce into the shredded chicken in the slow cooker.
Serve over rice, egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or cauliflower rice.
How to store leftovers of this crockpot recipe:
Fridge: Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and place the leftover chicken into an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Tips and tricks for making this tangy mustard chicken dish:
Can I use wholegrain mustard?
When making this recipe, the creamy mustard makes up half the sauce so you for the best texture and flavor, I would avoid using wholegrain mustard to cover the boneless chicken breasts.
The cut of chicken to use:
Chicken breasts are my go-to since I get them in the large family pack to stay within the budget, but you can also use boneless chicken thighs or chicken tenderloins as well.
