Ingredients for Homemade Oreos:

- Cake mix: use boxes of your favorite chocolate cake mix
- Eggs: use room-temperature eggs
- Oil: use either vegetable oil or canola oil to keep these cookies moist
Filling:
- Butter: be sure to have some softened unsalted butter ready to make the cookie dough
- Cheese: softened cream cheese will make the best oreo filling
- Extract: use the vanilla extract you have on hand
- Sugar: to create the best oreo center use powdered sugar to get the correct texture
How to make Homemade Oreos:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Line a cookie pan with parchment paper or spray it with nonstick spray.

To a medium-sized bowl add in the cake mix, eggs, and oil and beat well with a hand mixer.

Scoop 2-inch dough balls onto the cookie pan.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cooked. Let cool completely.
