Breakfast is such an underrated meal, it has all the delicious things for one meal, just like these bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sliders. This slider recipe has all the melty cheese, crispy bacon, and scrambled eggs you could ask for all in one individual slider.

This slider recipe is our family favorite because it is quite filling and can be made as a breakfast or dinner recipe. I don’t know about you, but I love having breakfast for dinner.

The best part about this Hawaiian sweet rolls recipe is, is that you truly can make it what you want it to be. I give you the basics and you can change and edit this recipe to what you know your family will love, and it will turn out great!

Ingredients for Breakfast Sliders

breakfast sliders
  • Egg: large eggs, they don’t need to be room temperature, straight from the fridge is fine
  • Milk: I like to use whole milk since it makes for creamier eggs, but you can pick your favorite
  • Seasonings: salt, black pepper, and ranch seasoning mix that you can find by all the dressings
  • Meat: you will need raw bacon slices
  • Cheese: I like to use shredded mild cheddar cheese for these delicious breakfast sliders
  • Butter: you will need melted unsalted butter
  • Sugar: use brown sugar when making the topping for the egg and cheese sliders
  • Rolls: grab a package of Kings Hawaiian rolls or your favorite sweet Hawaiian rolls from the grocery store

How to make Breakfast Sliders

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a sheet pan with nonstick spray (or line it with parchment paper)

Cut each piece of bacon into 4 pieces. Cook bacon slices in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Set aside. Discard all but 1 tbsp of the bacon grease in the pan. (You will be cooking the eggs in the bacon grease)

How to store leftover savory breakfast sliders:

Fridge: Wrap the sliders in either wax paper or aluminum foil and then place them into a large ziplock bag and store them in the fridge. If you don’t have a large enough bag, separate the slider and place them into an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge.

Tips and tricks for making tasty quesadillas:

Ways to change up these delicious breakfast Hawaiian sliders:

  • Use ground savory sausage, chopped up sausage patties, or deli ham instead of the cooked savory bacon
  • Use only egg whites for a healthier version of these cheese breakfast soldiers
  • Slather on some cream cheese before adding the eggs and bacon
  • Drizzle the top with either maple syrup or pancake syrup

What type of cheese to use:

This is up to you, but I like to use shredded cheddar cheese. You could use American cheese slices, or shredded white cheddar cheese, or even pepper jack cheese if you want a little spice!
