Slow Cooker Rotel Creamy Chicken Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken breast

  • 2 – 10.5 oz cans cream of chicken soup

  • 10 oz can rotel

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 lb penne pasta (or any pasta)

Directions

  • To a slow cooker add in the chicken, cream of chicken, rotel, and seasonings stir and cover with a lid cook on LOW for 6 hours OR HIGH for 5 hours or until the chicken is cooked. Once cooked place the chicken on a cutting board and shred or cube the chicken. Place the chicken back into the slow cooker and stir in the sour cream and cheese. Bring a pot of water to a boil on a stove and add in the pasta cook the pasta according to the package instructions, once cooked strain and add the cooked pasta into the slow cooker stir and serve!

  4. This was excellent. Imagine eating queso dip pasta for dinner! I added a small can of diced green chilies for a kick. Such a simple recipe but packs lots of flavor and compliments from the family!
