Sticky, sweet, and savory chicken nestle in with tender veggies for a delicious and easy sheet pan meal. Honey Sesame Chicken and Vegetables is my new go-to weeknight meal.
Sheet Pan Honey Sesame Chicken
By now, you already know my love for sheet pan meals, but I’ll remind you of three reasons why I love them: 1) they’re easy 2) they require minimal clean up 3) they always taste yummy! Have I convinced you to get on the sheet pan train yet?
Sesame Chicken Ingredients
This Honey Sesame Chicken recipe uses simple ingredients that you can grab from your local grocery store, but make sure you stop by the Asian food section and pick up some sesame oil. This is the ingredient that makes this dish. If you’ve never had sesame oil before, it has a unique and distinctive flavor that just can’t be replicated.
To make this dish, you’ll need:
- chicken breast
- riced cauliflower
- broccoli florets
- red bell pepper
- carrots
- honey
- minced garlic
- sesame oil
- ground ginger
- soy sauce
Feel free to change up the veggies for any that you love. This meal would be great with zucchini, asparagus, or mushrooms too.
How to Make Sesame Chicken
This recipe is super simple. All you have to do is chop the chicken and veggies and coat them in a delicious honey sesame sauce made by stirring a few ingredients together in a bowl. Then, you’ll throw everything in the oven, walk away, and come back to a delicious dinner waiting to be devoured!
The sesame honey glaze is the showstopper of this recipe. Seriously, I could drink it it’s so good. You could try this on beef or pork too and I bet it would be delicious!
Serve this recipe with a side of rice or some kind of Chinese noodle for a yummy complete meal. Highly recommend doubling the sauce to have more to drench over your starch!

My hubby won’t touch cauliflower, LOL. Do you think regular cooked rice would work, or some other substitute?
