This recipe literally could not be easier. You just mix the ingredients in a bowl, pour it in a baking dish, and bake. So simple. Then you can do whatever you want while it bakes, whether that’s clean up, do some self-care, or take a nap!

This recipe is super simple to double or halve, so you can make the perfect amount for your family, or make extra for a party, or make extra to throw in the freezer for an SOS meal.

Easy Hash Brown Casserole Ingredients

  • Kielbasa sausage (or your favorite kind of sausage!)
  • frozen shredded hash browns (buy your favorite brand)
  • melted butter
  • yellow onion
  • sharp cheddar cheese
  • sour cream (you can use greek yogurt if you’d like)
  • cream of chicken soup
  • onion powder
  • paprika
  • salt
  • pepper

Okay, I have to admit that casseroles are kind of a grandma thing. But then again, don’t grandmas make the very best food? I love an easy casserole, and let’s be honest, so does everyone! Ingredients

  • 14 oz Kielbasa sausage, thinly sliced

  • 30 oz bag frozen shredded hash browns

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • 1 yellow onion, diced

  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 10 oz cream of chicken soup

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp pepper

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • To a large bowl, add in all the ingredients and stir well. Grease a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray. Pour the casserole in the dish. Bake for 40 minutes. Enjoy!

    I made this recipe in accordance with your directions. I have not tasted any of your recipes that were not good, and this was no exception. However, I believe that for my tastes, I will substitute Cream of Celery or Cream of Asparagus soup for the Cream of Chicken. What are your thoughts?
