Monster No – Bake Cookie Bars

Ingredients
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup mini M&Ms
- Chocolate Topping:
1 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup mini M&Ms
Directions
- Raw flour is not safe to eat, to kill any bacteria place the flour in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for one minute then set to the side.
- To a large bowl add the butter, brown sugar, and regular sugar beat together until well combined now beat in the peanut butter. Stir in the flour and vanilla extract. Stir in the oats one cup at a time. Stir in the M&Ms.
- Line a 8×8 baking dish with aluminum foil and spray it with non-stick spray press the monster bar mixture in the baking dish.
- Chocolates Topping: To a microwave safe bowl add the chocolate chips and heavy cream microwave 30 seconds at a time stirring after every 30 seconds until completely melted. Pour over the monster bars and spread out evenly. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of M&Ms on top. Chill for at least one hour. Cut into bars and enjoy!

These Monster Bars are awesome! Our family can’t get enough of them. We even take them to all sorts of events. They are always a hit! Sometimes I don’t add the candy and other times I have used sprinkles instead.
