Ingredients for 3 Ingredient Taco Mac

  • Macaroni: you will need to box macaroni and cheese (and anything else listed on the package instructions) so pick your favorite brand I like using a box of Kraft Macaroni
  • Meat: use simple ground beef for this dinner recipe, but good substitutes for ground beef are ground turkey, ground pork sausage, ground chicken, or any meat substitute
  • Tomatoes: I love to use Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilis) in this recipe to add great flavor
  • Seasoning: you will need to use taco seasoning, so either pick a package of taco seasoning or use your homemade taco seasoning
  • Optional Toppings: Guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheese, onion, and anything else you love!

How to store leftover cheesy taco mac:

Fridge: If you have any of this simple pan of taco mac left over, put it in an airtight container and store it in the fridge for up to 5 days. And then store any toppings separately in their own ziplock bags.

How to add even more taco flavors:

I won’t lie, this recipe is amazing and a flavorful meal as is, but if you want to make it a little spicy, you can always use the zesty Rotel tomatoes or add in a little bit more chili powder or cumin to bump up the spice for this recipe.
