Ingredients
2 tbsp olive oil
1 white onion, diced
2 large carrots, diced
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp minced garlic
1/3 cup beef broth
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
28 oz can crushed tomatoes
2 tsp dried oregano
2 tsp dried basil
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp brown sugar
10 oz spaghetti
Directions
- To a large Dutch oven or pot over medium heat, add the oil. Once hot, add the onion, carrots, and ground beef. Break the ground beef up and cook it through.
- Once cooked, remove any excess grease from the pot. Sir in the garlic and cook for 20 seconds. Add in the broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes. Add in the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, crushed tomatoes, seasonings, and brown sugar. Simmer for at least 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and serve the sauce on top. Enjoy!
